How to move Private Contacts and Messages to my new phone? (Android only)

Overview

You can transfer your private contacts and messages from Calculator Pro+ to a new Android phone using either local storage or Google Drive. Both methods preserve your private contacts and full message history.

Method 1 — Local Storage

On your old phone

  1. Go to Settings → Chat Settings → Backup & Restore Messages → Manual Backup → Export To External.
  2. This saves your messages and media as a folder named psb in the location you choose.

Your backup is saved as a folder named psb in the location you picked (usually internal storage or an SD card). Not sure where it is? See Where is my local backup stored?

On your new phone

  3. Open the app and go to Settings → Chat Settings → Backup & Restore Messages → Restore Backup → Import from External.
  4. Select the psb folder and grant folder permission when Android asks. The restore will begin.
